Uwe). - Control with PVSS etc (Georgios, Jorge, Kai,
Michael, Jens). - Cooling (Ana).

- diagnostics tools used at KIP.

- Software Interlock running on
- PCU (Kai, David, Tom).
3Working LV ans Successful in Configuration
PVSS panels by Georgios and Michael were used for
operation.
4Results of the Last Try
- Services prepared by David et.al. work very well.
- Readout chamber status and operation
- Good, no significant changes from SXL2 tests,
- Power up successful with normal current. No
shorts. - Configuration was ok with script based tools.
- Dummy configuration sent to the chambers with
full chain. - Noise scanned (13 events) using DCS board readout
- next slides.
- Cooling performance is good (23 K rise).
- Dead HC (S2L0) is still dead unfortunately.

7For Further Commissioning
- Final goal
- Take cosmic data with final DCS infrastructure
and DAQ and trigger infrastructure directly
related to TRD. - Gas will be available middle of Apr. (Chilo).
- H.V. distribution box will be available end of
May (Maria). - DCS Infrastructure will be debugged a lot in
Apr.. - Performance tests will be done end of Apr. (Kai
et.al.). - New FSM based DCS system will be installed end of
Apr. (Jorge). - Optical fibers ready (David). DAQ ready.
- (5 DDL?) GTU will be ready end of Apr. (Volker
et.al.). - Pre-trigger (partially available, discussed
later). - Software, Analysis Tools (MOOD Benjamin,
Minjung).
8Commissioning with CTP and Trigger Detectors
- LTUTTCex are there (we can borrow).
- ACORDE is ready to provide trigger to the CTP.
- Assuming 50 m cable length from ACORDE to CTP,
pre-trigger latency is 1 us (0 pre-samples).
With direct connection, 2 pre-samples possible. - Cosmic rate in SM08 0.5 Hz. It is much lower
with ACORDE (studied by Minjung). Preparation of
cosmic paddles in the magnet is proposed. - Not allowed to operate during daytime. We run
overnight. - T0/V0 will be installed on Apr. 1. and will have
services in end of Apr..
9Commissioning with Pre-Trigger System
- FEB for C side in production (90 produced).
Tests just started (Massimiliano, Robert). - 5x FEB C Installation planned 10, Apr..
- Pre-amplifiers for T0/V0 arrived (have wrong
components). - CB-TOF hardware ready. Being debugged (Rainer).
- CB-TOF will be used partially (DCS board TTCex)
in Apr.. commissioning.
