  • To achieve effective staffing right sizing of

Project Monitoring System (PMS)
  • The PMS will facilitate the Government in the
    planning, controlling and monitoring of
    development projects in an effective and
    efficient manner.
  • It will ensure accurate and timely capturing of
    project information, and also ensure that
    up-to-date information is available in different
    formats at different levels
  • The new PMS will cover three types of projects
    i.e. Electronic Government Projects, Five-Year
    Development Plan Projects, Special Projects
  • Objectives of PMS
  • Promote better inter-agency collaboration through
    new communication tools and groupware
  • Provide an open and flexible system to improve
    the information needs of operational and
    managerial processes at different levels of the
    agencies and
  • Provide paper-less environment by presenting and
    managing the information in electronic means
