The Intention of Darkness
(John 319-20) Jesus said, This is the
verdict Light has come into the world, but men
loved darkness instead of light because their
deeds were evil
(John 319-20) Everyone who does evil hates the
light, and will not come into the light for fear
that his deeds will be exposed.
(Jeremiah 526) Among My people are the wicked
who lie in wait like men who snare birds and like
those who set traps to catch men.
How is your battle with Darkness?
Jesus came into the world because Darkness is not
a passive force but a terrifyingly active one.

  the Baals and they burned incense to images

Hosea states that it was Israel who was called
out of the Darkness of Egypt because of Gods
love.
but Israel chose the Darkness rather than the
Light of the Loving God.

The Insistence of God

• (Hebrews 214-18) Since the children have flesh
  and blood, Jesus too shared in their humanity
  so that by His death He might destroy him who
  holds the power of death--that is, the devil

So that we who are in Darkness may be given a
chance to choose Light.
Atonement is the great doctrine that Jesus
gave Himself as a substitution for our sin.

Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness,
but will have the Light of Life."
(Revelation 2123-24) The City does not need the
sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of
God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp
