The Peoples Beatitudes

• Happy are the pushers for they get on in the
  world. Happy are the hard-boiled for they never
  let life hurt them. Happy are they who complain
  for they get their own way in the end. Happy are
  the blase for they never worry over their sins.
  Happy are the slave drivers for they get results.
  Happy are the knowledgeable men of the world for
  they know their way around. Happy are the
  troublemakers for they make people take notice of
  them.

Poor in Spirit

• The person who is poor in spirit knows that he is
  solely and totally dependent on God to meet his
  every need, and hes happy because he knows God
  will.

Mourning Happiness

• Jesus never mourned over his own sin, but he
  mourned over the damage that sin wreaks on his
  children.
• When Jesus saw her weeping and saw the other
  people wailing with her, he was moved with
  indignation and was deeply troubled. 35Then

Our mourning

• Whens the last time you mourned over the
  ugliness and the darkness of your heart?
• Selfishness, impatience, stubbornness, critical
  spirit, dirty thoughts anger,worry,dirty mouth
  fill in the blank!

  are trying to follow God and the world at the

  mourned deeply, and then we can serve with great
  JOY.

Meekness

• Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am
  gentle meek and humble in heart, and you will
  find rest for your souls.
• The most obnoxious and abusive people are those
  with Bible verses on their walls.

Craving Righteousness

• The meek person who comes to God in submission
  develops a spiritual hunger and thirst for what
  is right in Gods sight. Righteousness. Jesus
  says, they will be filled. Have you noticed that
  nothing in this world truly satisfies. This world
  is full of promises that it cant keep. It
  pacifies, but it never satisfies. But Jesus
  pronounces Gods blessing to satisfy us. Only
  when you have a heavenly appetite can you find
