WHAT IS NAPLAN?

• National Assessment Program Literacy And Numeracy
• All student in Australia in years 3, 5, 7 9 sit
  this test.
• Designed to test Literacy and Numeracy Skills.
• You use these skills every day in all of your
  lessons.
• The test looks at your individual performance.

When is the test?

• Week 4
• Tuesday 12th May Thursday 14th May.
• You will do this test in your Pathways class as
  you did for the practice test.

How can you prepare?

• Focus on all activities in class with all of your
  teachers.
• Work on skills such as spelling, reading,
  writing, mental maths. Focusing in your lessons
  is the best preparation you can do for these
  tests.

• Being well rested and enthusiastic is very
  important.
• Be positive you can do it!
• Arrive early and prepared with all of your
  equipment.
• Listen to the instructions of your teachers at
  all times and follow them exactly.

• Do your absolute best at all times.
• Do not distract others from doing their best.
• Do not skip any questions answer them all.
• Complete any preparation worksheets that your
  teachers provide you with.
