Introduction

• The NKF is a charitable organisation that
  provides dialysis treatment and rehabilitation
  care to kidney failure patients at affordable,
  subsidised rates.
• The NKF also provides health-screening and
  public education services to raise the
  communitys awareness on the importance of renal
  disease prevention.

Steps that Volunteers have
to take in NKF

• Sign up as a family or teams of at least two
  members
• Attend the program orientation
• You will be assigned to a needy patient
• Visit the patient family once a month with 30
  worth of basic food provisions
• Befriend them, build friendship and hope

Circle Of Hearts - Volunteer Programme in NKF

• launched on June 26, 2007, is the first volunteer
  program of the new NKF.
• consists of the following programs
• Befrienders Program Offering Friendship and
  Hope
• Befriending Services
• Enrichment Program Imparting New Skills
• Adoption Program
