converted to combust renewable fuels in an effort
to meet challenging targets set for renewables
and carbon dioxide emissions. - The Pannon Thermal Power Plant in Pécs, Hungary,
has switched from coal to gas and biomass. - One boiler was converted into biomass-fired unit
and another for gas firing. As a result, emission
levels have fallen and are now within new
stricter limits

16Replacing oil with wood gas in heating

used to replace oil in industries where heat is
