Title: TruHeat Immersion
1 Immersion Heating Solutions
2TruHeat Immersion
TruHeat has considerable experience in aqueous
immersion heating elements. The first heating
assembly offered by TruHeat was an immersion
screw plug unit in 1959.
Flanged and pipe plug units are very popular in
the OEM immersion market, and TruHeat offers a
broad range of options in both applications.
3TruHeat Immersion
Over the side immersion units provide benefits
such as retrofit ability, ease of use, and the
ability to remove the heating assembly without
draining the tank, thus offering practical
replacement. TruHeat supplies OTS heaters to a
variety of industries including 55 gallon waste
water evaporators industrial parts washers.
4TruHeat Immersion
TruHeat also offers In-Line Heating Assemblies
where direct tank immersion is impractical or
precision temperature control is necessary.
TruHeat uses patented electronics to maintain
temperature 1/2 º Fahrenheit which is optimal
for Bioremediation Parts Washers
5TruHeat Immersion
There are two critical points to consider when
designing immersion elements, Sheath Material,
and Watt Density. Watt Density needs to be low
enough to hold the solution under the recommended
operating temperature (see reference slides 5-8)
and Sheath Material must be considered when
dealing with corrosive solutions
