  • Foundation of the program
  • Funded Mortgages through Canadian Lending
    Institutions, referred through a MBKR
    representative earn dollars invested into a
    Manulife RSP program specific to RE/MAX.
  • In most cases, where MBKR gets a Finders Fee from
    our lender(s), the Associate will earn a total of
    24 basispoints of the funded mortgage amount.
  • MBKR contributes 15 basispoints and RE/MAX Chay
    contributes 9 basispoints totaling the 24.
  • 1 basispoint equals 1/10 of 1.

Lets Look at the Math
  • 200,000 mortgage x 0.24
  • 480 invested into your RSP.
  • One mortgage a month
  • 5,760 invested into your RSP, 2007.
  • Five years working with MBKR
  • 32,683, compounded at 5 return over an
    additional 10 years
  • 53,237after 15 years.
  • If, you contributed an additional 100/m for the
    15 years, your RSP value would be approximately
    80,000.
  • (using the same growth figures as above)
  • Based on a 5 annual return rate and monthly
    deposits for the initial 60 months, with no
    deposits for the remaining 120 months.

The Process
  • It all starts with your first referral
  • In House Service- RE/MAX Chay has a designated
    team of 4 Mortgage Brokers to service you.
  • What qualifies as a lead? Any mortgage client
    you refer to us that we receive a Finders Fee
    from a Canadian Lending Institution.
  • What paperwork must be filled out to submit lead?
    Complete and pass on the one page referral
    agreement (final document still in works
    MBKR/R/M-O.A.) and we will contact the customer
    and keep you informed and up to date. Similar to
    you passing on a Real Estate client referral to
    another RE/MAX Associate.
  • MBKR Head Office delivers funds within (2 weeks
    of receipt) to your office after mortgage
    funding.
  • Office processes funds electronically to
    Manulife.
  • Individual access codes will distributed through
    your office administrators and RE/MAX
    Ontario-Atlantic.
  • Log into web site to set up your account.
  • Manulife administers the program and provides
    instant on-line access and semi-annual statements
    delivered to your home.

Successes to date
  • MBKR has hired 4 dynamic individuals (us),
    working in 2 teams to service your 4 offices,
    your buyers, sellers, past clients refinances and
    other clients you refer.
  • 10 referrals to date and we are less than 2
    months into the program.
  • Closed 1 referral and will be paying into an
    RSP of the R/M Chay Realtor. And company wide,
    the program has paid out more than 30,000 to R/M
    Associates in the last quarter of 2006.
  • 2007 Expectations
  • Leverage RE/MAX 's brand, sales volume and
    innovation to give you mortgage solutions like no
    other.
  • 200 referrals from 70 RE/MAX Chay Associates with
    RSP contributions totaling 75, 000 for 2007.
  • Efficiencies and processes to make the mortgage
    process part of your customer service routine.
