good. The New Year always brings changes, doesn't
it? Well, change has come to The Center for
Spiritual Living White Plains, formerly known as
the First Church of Religious Science. We have
officially changed our name, as has our
organization, The International Centers for
Spiritual Living, formerly known as Religious
Science International. Our teaching, however,
has not changed. We are still providing a safe
and loving place where you can learn the
spiritual tools that awaken you to personal
transformation. We honor all pathways to The
Divine. We welcome you, and all people. Our
growing spiritual community is warm, welcoming
and friendly. We are here to serve you. Won't you
avail yourself of our service? We believe that
life is consciousness. We believe that God is
conscious of you all the time. We also believe
that we demonstrate personal empowerment when we
focus our consciousness on God, all the

Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat
Where Does It Come From? Reverend Nancy Hazzard,

We celebrated the flowers of summer and the
autumn harvest, but now that the leaves have
fallen and the trees are dark and bare, what do
we see in the seemingly lifeless tree or
flower? The view from your window may appear
dank and dreary, but the trees are far from
dead!  Activity is still taking place inside that
wondrous tree or bulb, even though you can't see
it.  The plants may appear to be resting,  but
during the cold winter months, the roots, the
part  you can't see,  are busy creating  and
storing food  and energy.  They are preparing the
tree for  the springtime burst of new life. 
Tender leaves and buds are being created to
spring to life at the right time.  This
phenomenon repeats itself in perfect harmony
every year.  It's absolutely necessary and
natural for the continuity of life. This same
natural sequence of events takes place when we
give a spiritual mind treatment.  Even though
spontaneous demonstrations can and do happen, 
more frequently, there is a gestation period
before we see the demonstration.  There has to be
a period of growth as the ideas and events come
together. This is perfectly natural.  Every
treatment you have ever given is always active. 
In Spirit, there is no time or space. Therefore,
your demonstration will take place at exactly
 the right time.  Keep the high watch, and watch
your good unfold!
