Geography
Ancient Egypt was founded on the Nile river.
There are two parts of Ancient Egypt. Lower Egypt
and Upper Egypt. Most of Egypt is made of sand
and some rock. Along the Nile the was a lot of
vegetation. The only things that could grow, grew
there.
The geographic size is 387,000 square miles. The
Nile river flows into the Mediterranean sea. It
is next to the Dead sea, but doesnt flow into
it. The river splits into three parts before it
flows into the sea.

Economics
A lot of there good were shipped from the Nile
river. Some of the later civilizations used
silver to pay for goods. They would weigh it and
the weight would be how much they have. They made
thing like bricks and mined there own stone. In
some places it is harder to fined stone so they
would have to pull to the build sight. Market
places would sell things like fruit and
vegetables.

Religion and Philosophy
Egyptians believed in a lot of gods. One of them,
Osiris, the god of the underworld changes there
daily life routine. Every day they have to go to
there temple and give him an offering so he will
spare there lives. The god gave them food and a
place to live. Even if it wasnt that great. The
religion for the Egyptians didnt stop at their
Natural surroundings and affairs in society, its
almost as if they adhered it to the inner human
brain. Ancient Egyptians thought that went you
passed on to the after life whatever you were
buried with would come with you. The Egyptians
would mummify you by taking your brains out
through your nose and draining all the fluids
from your dead body.

Language, Education, and Art
Language in there time was very advanced for
there times. They had a form of writing called
hieroglyphics. This form of writing used pictures
and symbols instead of letters. The Egyptians
didnt provide much education. The ancient
Egyptians didnt have many schools like we have
today but the schools that they did have were
teaching people how to be scribes. Girls did not
attend school but wealthy girls could read. The
boys were taught the trade by their fathers.
Most of the learning took place at home where
there was an emphasis of practicing skills. The
parents taught the children about religion,
educational principles and values. Napoleon's
invasion led to the spread of all the Egyptian
art.

Political Science
A lot of their laws are made by the pharaohs. A
pharaoh is a kind of king. They would rule a
piece of land or a place. Most of the land and
culture was lost nearly two thousand years ago.
Byzantine Emperor Theodosius the I closed all of
the pagan temples throughout the Roman Empire.
One of the greatest rulers was Ramesses the III.
He did after a great war when his wife sent out
to kill him. They didnt succeed and were caught.
But later the found out that they had come to
late and Ramesses was already badly wounded and
died during the trial to put his wife to death.
Hatshepsut was the first recorded woman to be
king. All people went against this and were going
to have her put to death, but the inherents were
put to her. So to make the people happy she would
dress like a man and even wear a fake beard. When
Napoleon came to war she fled the country.

Sociology
A lot of richer families or pharaohs would have
slaves. More slaves were found during the later
times of Ancient Egypt. From the first day that
Pharaohs ruled they would start the process of a
monument of pyramid. Slaves would have to drag
the carefully cut stone blocks from the mine to
the building site.
