ASME has been likened to the infamous elephant
seen by a group of blind peopleeach sees
something different.
4
ASME does have some aspects like that
  • If you have only gone to Section meetings, youve
seen a limited part of CMAs (KCs) activities.
  • Members who have attended a major conference have
seen one piece of COEs (KCs) many and varied
    programs.
  • Codes and Standards volunteers may know only that
very important part of ASMEs work.

5
One of our goals here at TEC is to help you see
the full scope of ASMEs activitiesand to
understand how your particular unit and job fit
into the bigpicture

delegation, working together to get the greatest
benefit for your Division from this TEC. You may
want to caucus at meals, to compare notes and to
decide who will do what next.

of the Divisions in each of the current
