Scholarship Presentations

• Two 500 Scholarships were presented to the TOP
  Hospitality and Finance students at SAIT
  Polytechnic
• Celebrated at SAIT
• Enjoyed dinner prepared by SAIT Culinary and
  Hospitality Students

Regional ConferencePartnered with Alberta Hotel
Lodging Association

• For the first time, Alberta Hotel and Lodging
  Association invited HFTP Southern Alberta Chapter
  to participate in the selection of Educational
  presentations especially to interest controllers
  and financial professionals. 2009 was a crucial
  time for hoteliers to determine best processes
  and implement the best techniques for their
  unique operations. Financial professionals were
  recharged to meet the current challenges.

• AHLA Convention Trade Show motivated us to create
  two
• HFTP booth presentations which we now display at
  our monthly
• meetings. 350 AHLA members attended and received
  the CHAE
• and HFTP brochures. Contact information provided
  for follow up
• to assist in building our membership.
• The conference and trade show event gave HFTP
  exposure to over
• 800 Alberta hoteliers and their suppliers.

  also allow them to attend our dinner meetings
