Hi, I am Matthew Walker

On our 160 acre farm.

• 42,000 lbs of tobacco
• 35 mixed acres of hay
• 30 acres of wheat
• 6 pullet houses
• 100 head of registered boer goats

Forage production is one of my duties on the farm.

I help in all stages of tobacco production. My
main responsibility is to prepare the land for
the young seedlings.

• Equipment is stored in one central location
• This helps to limit traveling from one point to
  another
• As you can see much land is needed in such an
  operation.

This is a Farmall Super A that I restored my
sophomore year of high school.

Making repairs is a routine job.

We use horses for both work and pleasure on the
farm.

My SAE was possible due to family support and
needed skills learned through agricultural
education.
