• It is a combination of several cultural
• traditions.
• From Muslim culture the tradition of helping
  your neighbor
• From Japanese culture the tradition of making
  1,000 cranes
• From American culture the tradition of people
  working together in a sewing circle

• WHAT does Circle of Friends do?
• We make scarves for homeless people in Seattle.
• We want to make 1,000 scarves.
• We need your help!

Some of the more than 200 finished scarves.

• HOW can Circle of Friends help you?
• You can practice your English.
• You can learn to knit or crochet.
• You can do something good for someone else.

• IS it Circle of Friends expensive?
• No! Its free.
• We have knitting needles and crochet hooks that
  we can loan you.
• We have many different colors of yarn.
