Background
  • August of 2008 was signed the MOU between College
    of Education of Stanford University and CETYS
    University.
  • The main objective is to provide academic and
    technical support for the deployment and
    monitoring of the Mobile-Learning Project for
    under-served elementary schools in Baja
    California Mexico (this project was designed and
    supported by Stanford University and the
    Innovation For Learning, Inc.).

Background
  • One of the big challenges for the CETYS
    University was the design and develop of local
    content for educative activities and test in
    experimental groups.
  • Local content was defined as Educational
    videogames, Educational electronics books ,
    Educational histories, etc.)
  • To face the challenge was conformed a group of
    students and teachers to work on it.

Methodology of working
  • Review the mobile videogames games received form
    Stanford and IFL
  • Brain Storm centered in educative activities
  • Basic math operations (addition, substraction,
    and multiplication).
  • Basic grammars and vocabulary.
  • To capture the attention of children is suggested
    to elaborate a history and to create a virtual
    friend.

  • Game Maker (software for rapid game design)

  • Present to professors of education and receive
    enhancements and rebuild the prototypes.
