• dijiMIX is a two-part digital audio mixer
  designed for live concerts and events.
• The digital sound mixer engine remains up on
  stage, while the console is situated in the
  crowd. This eliminates the expensive and
  relatively fragile multi-wire mic-snake that is
  needed with conventional analogue systems.
• The two units communicate using the
  protocol, linked by a single cable.
• The digital console is fully programmable, with
  user-assignable controls and group-able channels.
  The 4 channel prototype is expandable to 12
  channels.
• The dijiMIX prototype is less than 500, much
  cheaper than commercial units of similar design,
  which range from 6000 to 230,000.
