  • was founded in 1962
  • is a spiritual and educational community, located
    in northern Scotland
  • is non-denominational, with no formal creed,
    doctrine, or guru
  • runs residential workshops for 2,500 people/year,
    drawn from over 40 countries
  • welcomes another 10,000 guests/year
  • has an annual income of 1.6 million
  • owns 2.5 million assets
  • has 100 staff and dependents, and a wider
    community of 400 friends and supporters in the
    area
  • is at the heart of a developing eco-village
  • is an NGO recognised by the UN, working on
    "values" and "sustainability
