6. CORRECTING ERRORS

Error indications

• Pop-up messages when you click the Save button
• Red error messages at the top of the page when
  you click the Save button
• Red error messages at the top of the Summary tab
  when you click the Submit button.

Errors that need to be corrected will be brought
to your attention in three ways, listed on this
slide. If a pop-up message or a red error
message at the top of the page indicates an
error, you must correct it and then click Save.
If a red error message appears at the top of
the Summary page, you must correct it, save it,
return to the Summary tab and click Submit again.

Error Messages on Summary Tab
Survey tab
This slide shows an example of red error messages
at the top of the Summary page. These messages
may be reminders about explanations required or
corrections needed. Appendix H of the PNPE
Instruction Manual gives a list of the error
messages that may appear on the Summary tab. It
also lists the associated problem and the tab to
go to in order to correct the problem. If there
are error messages, they will appear after you
click the submit button on the Summary tab.
