Research Interests
Current Projects

• My research interests stem for societys current
  adoption of new technologies and the related need
  to incorporate effective use of information and
  communication technologies in education, through
  modeling of good practice in teacher education.
  This includes several dimensions
• - Research to promote systemic change for
  educational organizations and those who teach in
  ways that enhance intercultural understanding
• - Research into the preparation of teachers for
  flexible and distance learning supported by
  communication technologies, including pre-service
  teachers.

• International Leadership for Educational
  Technology (ILET) A transatlantic bridge for
  doctoral studies. 2001-4 US Federal Department of
  Education (FIPSE) and European Commission (DEAG)
  EC-US program for vocational education and
  training. (with Andrew Brown, IoE London
  University)
• Evaluation of University of Florida Teaching with
  Technology Initiative. 2001-4 US Federal
  Department of Education PT3 initiative
  subcontract. (with Drs. Kemis, Thompson Schmidt
  and links with ISU TechCo replication.)
