Mental Health Warrior Award Prize 5,000

• Purpose To raise the awareness of mental health
  and overcome the stigma associated with mental
  illness in the Chinese community.
• Who can apply All Chinese patients with mental
  illness, their friends and families, as well as
  community volunteers are invited to apply. With
  the consent from the eligible individual,
  nomination by others may also be accepted.
• Requirements Eligible applicants must have used
  personal recovery story or community services to
  inspire others (or a community) to face life
  adversaries, to overcome stigma, to instigate
  hope, and to heal from mental illness. Mental
  health professionals must speak from their
  experience of being a psychiatric patient
  themselves or family members. Applicant under 18
  year-old must participate with the consent of
  their parents or legal guardians. Names and
  addresses of two reference persons should be
  included. Application should include an essay in
  either Chinese or English of no more than 2,000
  words.
