Sai Kripa has three main projects- 3. Sai Bal
Sansar- non-formal education for slum and street
children. started in 2002 as a charity school
for the benefit of street children in Noida.
Initially it was held within the Sai Temple,
Sector-40 Noida. As the attendances grew, it has
been moved to rented premises in Agahpur sector
41 Noida. There are currently over seventy
children regularly attending school, making up
six classes. The children are aged between 3 and
16, and all originate from poor or needy
backgrounds normally with very large families.
10
Shiromani Vijay been involved in this since 1994
and presented this project in 1995 to Ramakrishna
for consideration of support from Asha Arizona.
11
From 1996 till now, Asha Arizona has supported 8
proposals from Sai Kripa for a total of
16,500.00. The funds have gone to support a
variety of needs- the library, field trips,
teacher salaries, generator, science lab,
uniforms, tuition scholarships, etc. Many other
organizations, such as- AID, CRY, Concern India
Foundation, Cadence, American Express, Fidelity
Investments, have supported the expanding needs
of the projects that Anjina Rajagopals vision
has created.

Special Science kits will enable the children to
experiment on their own not only at school but
also at home. This makes them take more interest
in science subjects and helps them understand the
subject better.
15
At present we have an Aqua guard and a water
cooler which are very old and not working
properly. Hence a R.O System and a water
cooler are needed to replace them. Funds are
being sought for a tube well so that clean
drinking water can be available for the children.
16
Physical fitness is critical for children to get
a good education. As there are no playgrounds
available for he children, dance is a wonderful
and enjoyable exercise! The children love it and
put together entertainmentshows for the parents
and the community. The school has a music
teacher, but a dance teacher is very much needed.
The children learn a lot about our culture as
well. A small amount is requested for health
maintenance as most of the funds are being
donated by volunteer doctors and nurses.
