Network Authentication Process
User configures computer IAW instructions on CIT
website. User connects computer to wall jack
using Ethernet (RJ-45) cable. User opens web
browser and is directed to Authentication page.
User enters e-mail username and password.
Patches up-to-date? Anti-virus software
Up-to-date?
No
Yes
Network Access restricted to web pages needed for
remedial action.
User is provided instructions for installing
operating system updates and/or anti-virus
software program/updates.
