• B.S. in Geosciences from Oregon State University
• M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Portland
  State University
• Licensed to teach Science, Special Education and
  Health
• Administrative Certification and Continuing
  Education at Lewis and Clark College
• I began my teaching career in 1984 and have been
  working for 23 years in the education field. I
  have been a teacher, coach, special education
  director, vice principal and principal during my
  career. My focus is on helping to create learning
  communities that value kids and focus on creating
  competent learners who are also model citizens. I
  believe that schools are community places and I
  am focused on making our school a place where
  every member of our community feels welcome. One
  of our most important goals at Crook County High
  School is to prepare our students for the 21st
  century workplace and to instill in them a sense
  of responsibility for helping continue to make
  our country a great nation.
• I have two children both of whom are boys. One
  boy is in high school and the other is in middle
  school, both are involved in multiple sports. I
  have been married for 23 years and my wife works
  in the medical profession. We love outdoor
  activities including skiing, rafting, fishing and
  mountaineering.
