Is What God Says Important?
Where is the scripture that teaches that what God
says about some things is important, while what
He says about other subjects is not
important??? Is it right for humans to pick and
choose the portions of Gods teach-ings and
commands they accept?

• Relativism says We create our own truth and
  that truth changes. Whatever a person believes
  is by that very fact true for him or her.
• New Age author Jack Underhill says YOU are the
  only thing that is real. Everything else is
  your imaginationThere are no victims in this
  life or any other. No mistakes. No wrong paths.
  No winners. No losers.

• Psychiatrist M. Scott Peck said
• To put it plainly our unconscious is GodIt is
  for the individual to become totally, wholly
  GodWe are born that we might become, as a
  conscious individual, a new life form of God.
• Swami Muktananda advises his flock God dwells
  within you as you worship your Self.

• Those people do not believe there is an objective
  standard of truth. They do not believe the Bible
  is the revelation of truth from God. Others who
  claim to believe that the Bible is Gods word
  make statements as
• Just believe on Jesus, doctrine doesnt
  matter.
• What church one belongs to doesnt make any
  difference.

• Does it Matter What God says
• In the beginning God created the heavens and
  the earth (Gen. 11).
• God, who made the world and everything in
  itAnd He has made from one blood every nation of
  men (Acts 1724-26).
• The fool has said in his heart, There is no
  God. (Ps. 531 141).

• Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. (1
  Cor. 1014).
• You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him
  only you shall serve. (Matt. 410).
• we know that an idol is nothing in the world,
  and that there is no other God but one. (1 Cor.
  84).

• Is What God says about Jesus Important?
• if you do not believe that I am He, you will
  die in your sins (John 824).
• Then Simon Peter answered Him, Lord, to whom
  shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.
  Also we have come to believe and know that You
  are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
  (John 668,69).

• Is what God says about morals truth?
• For the commandments, You shall not commit
  adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not
  steal, You shall not bear false witness, You
  shall not covet (Rom. 139).
• Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor
  idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor
  sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor
  drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will
  inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Cor. 69-11).

• What God says about what one must do to be saved?
  Is it Important?
• He who believes and is baptized will be saved,
  but he who does not believe will be condemned.
  (Mk. 1616).
• Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in
  the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of
  sins (Acts 238).
• You see then that a man is justified by works,
  and not by faith only. (James 224).

• God speaks about the church. Is that Important?
• And I also say to you that you are Peter, and
  on this rock I will build My church (Matt.
  1618).
• And the Lord added to the church daily those
  who were being saved (Acts 247).
• Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved
  the church and gave Himself for it, that He might
  sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water
  by the word. (Eph. 525,26).

• Nor is there salvation in any other, for there
  is no other name under heaven given among men by
  which we must be saved. (Acts 412).
• So when they had appointed elders in every
  church(Acts 1423).
• Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all
  the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made
  you overseers, to shepherd the church of God
  which He purchased with His own blood. (Acts
  2017,28).

  prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and
  teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the
  work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of
  Christ. (Eph. 411,12).
• speaking to one another in psalms and hymns
  and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in
  your heart to the Lord. (Eph. 519).
• Now on the first day of the week, when the
  disciples came together to break bread (Acts
  207).

• Is What God says in Matt. 2537-40 Important?
• Then the righteous will answer Him, saying,
  Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed you,
  or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see
  You a stranger and take You in, or naked and
  clothe You? Or when did we see you sick, or in
  prison, and come to You? And the King will
  answer and say to them, Assuredly, I say to you,
  inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of
  these My brethren, you did it to me.

• Which of these teachings from God can we ignore
  and still be pleasing to God?
• If we say the teaching on the church and how to
  be saved is not really important, how can we know
  that the teaching on the one God, or Jesus or
  morals is important?
• Where is the passage that gives us the right to
  ignore any of Gods words?
