• addressing the primary health care needs of the
  most socially excluded section of Leicesters
  population and honouring the rights of homeless
  people of access to primary and secondary care

LEICESTER HOMELESS HEALTHCARE PMS

• Full Time Primary Care service since March 2000
  offering full registration to all patients
• Provision of full range of primary care service
  including 24 hour access to care 365 days a year
• Over 1,000 patients treated each year in around
  9,000 consultations

PRIMARY HEALTHCARE FOR HOMELESS PEOPLE

• Outreach service provides primary care to
• Roughsleepers
• 4 direct access hostels
• Night shelter (within Multidisciplinary Dawn
  Centre)
• Anchor centre drop in wet centre
• Others as deemed appropriate by service leads
• We also provide a service to additional socially
  excluded groups
• 2 approved (bail) hostels
• New Futures Womens Project
