Recap/Statement of Work

• To further develop, modify and refine the
  circuitry into a functioning unit.
• Establish communication between sensors embedded
  in a wing, wireless motes, and a central unit.
• End product will consist of a pulse generator,
  controllable by the motes and capable of
  producing a pulse traveling 10 through paneling
  to a computer for processing.

Receiver Operation

• Receives a transmitted signal. Requested by a
  user.
• The OpAmp (comparator chip) is used to detect the
  incoming signal.
• If a 1V signal is detected the SR latch saves the
  value and sends it to be A/D converted to be sent
  to the gateway connected to the PC.
• A reset switch is needed for the SR latch.

• Pulse Generator debugging
• - attempted to produce accurate pulse with
  equipment
• - connected pulse generator to existing groups
  design
• MoteView (software for sensor communication)
• - Could not get Mote View to run without
  freezing on XP
• Circuit evaluation
• - evaluated function of square wave generator,
  charge pump, and timer chip

• Further attempt to replicate the signal using
  independent motes.
• Check into equipment issues.
• Finish soldering of receiver circuits.
