1. Population Explosion

• Genesis 41-2 1 Adam lay with his wife Eve, and
  she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She
  said, "With the help of the LORD I have brought
  forth a man." 2 Later she gave birth to his
  brother Abel. Now Abel kept flocks, and Cain
  worked the soil.

  then building a city, and he named it after his

5. Hope in the midst of despair

• Enoch walked with God God took him
• Genesis 524 Enoch walked with God then he was
  no more, because God took him away.
• Hebrews 115 By faith Enoch was taken from this
  life, so that he did not experience death he
  could not be found, because God had taken him
  away. For before he was taken, he was commended
  as one who pleased God.

• Noah found grace righteous blameless
• Genesis 68 But Noah found favor in the eyes of
  the LORD.
• Hebrews 117 By faith Noah, when warned about
  things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to
  save his family. By his faith he condemned the
  world and became heir of the righteousness that
  comes by faith.

Matthew 2444 So you also must be ready, because
the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do
not expect him. Are you ready if Christ returns
today?

  Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son
  of Man. 27 People were eating, drinking, marrying
  and being given in marriage up to the day Noah
  entered the ark. Then the flood came and
  destroyed them all.
