Relevance
  • GGPP in rice endosperm can be successfully
    converted to pro-vitamin A.
  • The detection of pro-vitamin A in both
    transformed groups indicates that the enzymes
    necessary to convert lycopene into pro-vitamin A
    are already expressed in normal rice endosperm.
