Sign-On Page What

• Switched from modified PeopleSoft signin.html to
  Content Management System
• Still the same url (sage.brandeis.edu)
• But redirect to page in CMS

• Distribute maintenance to functional owners
• No down-time for new announcements
• Consistent look-and-feel with rest of Brandeis
  website (branding)

• Changed PORTAL/index.html PORTAL/PIA/signon.html
  to point directly to CMS-page
• Changed PORTAL/WEB-INF/psftdocs/PIA/signin.html
  to have an error-handling and auto-redirect
• CMS page posts userid and password back to PS
  web-server so PeopleSoft still does authentication

PIA-Sites Page What

• We had multiple guest PIAs (Grad-school
  applications, inquiry-forms, etc).
• Now consolidated all in 1 SAGUEST PIA
• Student/Faculty/Staff PIAs now also in 1 PIA

• Less PIAs on webservers (2 instead of 12)
• Only 1 GUEST account with access to all
  GUEST-applications
• URLs for old PIA-sites remained the same

• Created folder-structure under /PORTAL/
• In each folder an index.html
• Index.html is an i-frame with bottom part
  pointing to right URL through generic Guest PIA.

• Department Administrators are in-frequent users
  and so do not easily remember what is where

  Navigation Tabs to control the structure of the
  various menu-items a student can use
• We changed a few delivered tabs
• We created our own Brandeis Tab-section for all
  our custom self-service items
