2. ACCESS TO PNPE

Data submission of the private and nonpublic
schools enrollment report is entirely Web-based.
The e-PDE Web Portal provides a secure access to
PNPE using the PA PowerPort user ID and password.
Appendix B of the PNPE Instruction Manual has
the Instructions for Setting Up Initial Security.
It includes how to register as a user, as shown
in the next four slides.

Open an internet browser and go to
http//www.pde.state.pa.us.  Click e-PDE Web
Portal.

Click Direct Link to the e-PDE Web Portal.

Click Create a PA PowerPort Login.

On the PAPower Subscription Registration page,
complete the required fields (marked with an
asterisk). Record your User ID and Password in a
secure place. Click Submit. Give your User ID and
email address to the person who will send the
information to PDE, following Appendix B of the
PNPE Instruction Manual.

After you are approved as an PNPE user, logon to
the e-PDE Web Portal Open an internet browser
and go to http//www.pde.state.pa.us.  Click
e-PDE Web Portal.

Click Direct Link to the e-PDE Web Portal.

Click Login to PA PowerPort.

Enter your User ID and Password. Click Login.

Click on the PNPE link to access PNPE. Then, the
first screen will display for the Private and
Nonpublic Schools Enrollment. If you are a
School User skip to section 4. Orientation to
Screen
