- IDOT adopt the Federal Highway Administrations
Accommodating Bicycle and Pedestrian Travel
policy - All non-motorized transportation should be
considered a normal project cost. All needed
accommodations should be made. - Effective for construction by July 1, 2007
- No longer need to prioritize bicycle projects
funded through the Highway Improvement Program
