2Kittens A kitten is little A kitten is
quick Kittens dont play the fiddle They give you
a lick Theyre always open to sit on your
lap. They always love to purr, purr, purr And
when you hug them they shed lots of fur.
3NEW YORK CITY The city is full of different
things. There is the smell of peanut vendors on
the street. The sound of cars honking and
screeching. Smells of diesel fumes in the air
from trucks. Subway trains rumbling under the
sidewalk. People calling to taxis or people on
the street. Sirens in the distance. Neon signs
going on and off. Helicopters hovering in the
sky. This is the city I know.
4 Winter
Winter is fun During winter you can run You
can sled You can build a snowman but dont
forget the head. Usually you can run, run, run
In the sun and snow but this year there was
none.
5Out of the Snow. Oh, my it is so windy Oh ,how
my nose is tingly I wonder if it will be likely
for me to get home Through the snow and misery,
I can see my approaching home I walk through the
door to hear the fire go crackly, crinkly Then
my cat runs to my open arms On my couch so
snugly, I drift off into my dreams

7 My Mom
She always is there for me. I recognize her in a
crowd by her red hair.
Always wearing black, which makes her
stand out even more. Always up for planting
flowers and trees. Always kind to my friends and
others. When its my birthday she always makes a
delicious cake. She loves to play classical music
on the piano. Surprises me with cool gifts on
Christmas and on my birthday. If I feel bad about
something, she is the one to make me feel
better. Enjoys good reading time and is good at
drawing. Is always willing to take a picture of
me. She is always reliable for remembering things
that are important. Loves to do Yoga every chance
she gets. That is my mom.
