  • To make science relevant and fun
  • To help students assess their scientific growth

4
Science Portfolio Components

  • Scientific Questions and Hypotheses
  • Scientific Method in Everyday Life
  • Scientific Growth

5
Scientific Growth
  • This portfolio has caused me to think deeperI
am not satisfied with simple answers and am
    finding myself asking many questions.
  • I didnt even know where to start. I felt stuck
because I had to completely create an experiment.
There were very few boundaries. But when I
started getting into it, I had lots of fun
    creating experiments.
  • Completing my final self-assessment was one of
the hardest things I've had to do. It required
me to be honest with myselfI had to evaluate
myself not only as a student but as a scientist.
