Using Databases
  • Download the answer sheet.(http//coe.winthrop.ed
    u/educ275/handouts/database_activity_sheet.htm ).
  • Open a blank database on Microsoft Access. Save
    the database as your last name in our folder on
    tshare.
  • Create your table in design view entering and
    describing at least seven fields (use or change
    the choices on your answer sheet).
  • Save your table (when you exit the table it will
    automatically ask if you want to save as Table
    1 this if fine.)
  • Enter data from as many cereals as possible until

  • Using your sort features, answer the questions on
    your sheet.
  • Print your database sorted for at least one

SORT Order fields in ascending or descending
order.1. Select field for sorting.2. Go to
Records menu.3. Choose Sort then ascending
or descending. FILTER Separate entries based
upon specified criteria.1. Select focus
entry.2. Go to Records menu.3. Choose
Filter then filter by selection.
