• This season targeted events in E. Canada only
• FIS events Only open to 13 in HP, 15 in the
  race disciplines
• The 2010 NorAm series will form a big part of
  Canada Games selection
• Attendance TBD between Athlete, coach, parents

Snowboardcross

• SBX March 14/15 (Two races) Alpine Club Ontario
• Budgeting. FIS/CAIP assumed. 75 entry fee per
  event 150 3 nights accommodation, Food,
  Transportation, training day lift pass.

Halfpipe

• HP Feb 24/25 Stoneham in the WC Pipe
• Two Competitions plus one training day
• Budgeting FIS/CAIP assumed. 75 per event
  150, 3 nights accommodation, food,
  transportation, training day lift pass

• Alpine January 24/25 PGS/PSL Le Relais
• Budgeting FIS/CAIP Assumed. Entry Fee 75 per
  event 150, Training day pass 15, 3 nights
  accommodation, food, transportation

• Budgeting 7 nights accommodation,

• Budget Accommodation, Quality Inn NB, 70 per
  night per room. Lift passes TBD, Gas/Rental,
  Food. Approx 300 pp

• 2009 Naming of first core team(s) Compete in
  Eastern NorAm. Fitness testing continues
• 2010 Off-season, Pre-season training camps
• Increased competition (NorAms), Nationals
• 2011 Final Team named

The little things

• Mark Fawcett, National Team Alpine Coach
• Hi all , I wanted to inform you about some
  "different" contributing factors that the
  athletes and staff identified as being a part of
  the team's success this weekend. Sometimes the
  little things can make all the difference.
• Faith in equipment...... all the waves of
  prototypes and test boards is paying off. The
  athletes know they have an advantage in this
  department now.
• On hill support.... From Jacket shuttling ,
  goggle maintenance, to food distribution , our
  athletes were much better taken care of than the
  rest of the field on a wet and stormy day.
  Having more staff than most of the other teams
  made many of these extra luxuries possible.
• Trench jackets.....saved the day for athletes
  and staff. Less than half the field had them ,
  and none better than ours BEYOND-X brand. We
  were warm a dry while others appeared cold , wet
  and miserable.
• Of course there is all the stanard factors that
  go into creating sucessful performances , and we
  certainly do not take any of those for granted.
  I just thought you'd like to see how some of the
  small details were employed
