  • 10 In School Volunteer Hours
  • 10 Community Service Hours
  • Peer Tutoring monthly from 7-9 PM
  • Note These are the MINIMUM.

  • All NHS members are expected to uphold the rules
    and expectations outlined by the school.

NHS Member Expectations
  • One Monthly Meeting at 630 AM
  • Monthly Tutoring from 7-9 PM
  • One unexcused absence results in probation two
    unexcused absences result in removal from the
    organization.

Scholarship
To qualify for membership to NHS, all students
must have a cumulative GPA of 4.5 or above on the
weighted OR unweighted scale.

  • Voluntary contributions made by a student to the
    school or community done without compensation and
    with a positive, courteous and enthusiastic spirit

Leadership
  • Dependable, resourceful students that are good
    problem solvers and contribute ideas both in
    school and in extracurricular activities.
  • Leadership experience in the school or community
    while working with others.

  • Students that uphold principles of morality and
    ethics

    honesty and reliability
  • Students that show courtesy, concern and respect
