Got Fruit?

• But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
  longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
  meekness, temperance against such there is no
  law. Gal. 522,23

Staying Connected

• Abiding in the vine meets our every need.
• Fruit is for character not power.
• Fruit is Gods revealed glory in you.
• Fruit grows it is not made.
• We are bearers of fruit.
• We are to be a well connected branch.
• God tills, plants, cultivates and waters our life
  for his purpose. He is the Vinedresser, Jesus is
  the true vine and we are the branches.

Fruit of Love

• Jesus said unto him, Thou shall love the Lord
  thy God with all thy heart, and all thy soul, and
  with all thy mind. This is the first and great
  commandment. And the second is like unto it,
  Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Matthew

• Love is divine concern for others
• Love is a demonstrative. It is not what we say
  but what we do.

Fruit of Love

• Develop a habit of love. Practice your love
  relationship with God. (R-E-P-O-H)
• Spend time alone with Him.
• Give God your time and He will tell you what to
  do.
• Love is the crowning grace of all the spiritual
  fruit and is the impelling force of God in the
  true exercise of the spiritual gifts.
• Forgive others who have not loved you!
• Commit your heart to God and love deeds follow.

Fruit of Love

• There is no fear in love but perfect love
  caseth out fear because fear hath torment. He
  that feareth is not made perfect in love. I John
  418
• And we know that all things work together for
  good to them that love God, to them who are the
  called according to his purpose. Romans 828
• Beloved, let us love one another for love is of
  God and every one that loveth is born of God,
  and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not
  God for God is love. Beloved, let us love one
  another, 1 John 47,8

Fruit of Joy

• for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
  Nehemiah 810b
• Joy is essential, first and foremost, because it
  is what enables us to overcome trials and
  temptations.
• When we obtain joy we obtain steadfastness.
• Joy is the weapon that destroys confusion,
  frustration and disappointment.

Fruit of Joy

• Because thou serve not the Lord thy God with
  joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the
  abundance of all things Therefore shall thou
  shalt serve thine enemies which the Lord shall
  send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, in
  nakedness, and in want of all things and he
  shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he
  have destroyed thee.

Fruit of Joy

• Joy produces victory.
• Joy provides fulfillment.
• Joy protects us against oppression.
• Jesus First, Others Second, Yourself last.
• Joy is Jesus on the inside of you, overflowing
  like rivers of living water yielding the fruit of
  the spirit.

Fruit of Peace

• Peace is a confidence and quietness, an assurance
  that God is working when you dont see it.
• And the peace of God, which passeth all
  understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds
  through Christ Jesus. Phil.47
• Gods peace can only assure your mind and heart
  in accordance to His will.
• Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto
  you not as the world giveth, give I unto you.
  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be
  afraid. John 1427

Fruit of Peace

• Finding Peace Be careful for nothing but in
  everything by prayer and supplication with
  thanksgiving let your request be made known unto
  God. And the peace of God, which passees all
  understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds
  through Christ Jesus. Phil. 46,7
• Let the Holy Spirit be your guide. Cast every
  care on Him for He cares for you.

Fruit of Longsuffering

• And let us not be weary in well doing for in
  due season we shall reap, if we faint not.Gal.
  69
• When times get difficult suffer long.
• When children disobey suffer long.
• When marriages seem to fail suffer long.
• When you are frustrated in your vision suffer
  long.
• When you are not appreciated suffer long.

Fruit of Longsuffering

• Frustration is a barrier to your goal.
  Longsuffering is the fruit that overcomes.
  Patiently endure.
• Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about
  with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay
  aside every weight, and the sin which doth so
  easily beset us., let us run with patience the
  race that is set before us.Heb. 121

Fruit of Gentleness Goodness

• Ye are the salt of the earth but if the salt
  have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be
  salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but
  to be cast out, and to be trodden underfoot of
  men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that
  is set on a hill cannot be hid. Neither do men
  light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on
  a candlestick and it gives light unto all that
  are in the house. 513-15

Fruit of Gentleness Goodness

• Gentleness is salt
• Goodness is light. Love in action, it is
  displayed through a performance of a deed.
• Gentleness is a kindly disposition towards
  others.
• Goodness is a kindly activity on anothers behalf.

• Do all things without murmurings and disputing.

Fruit of Faith

• But God is faithful, who will not suffer you to
  be tempted above that ye are able but will with
  the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye
  may be able to bear it. 1 Cor. 1013
• Faith is your belief in motion, moving you
  towards things unseen.
• NOW Faith is. Now is 0-2-5 seconds.

Fruit of Meekness Temperance

• For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience
  toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
  For what glory is it, if, when you be buffeted
  for your faults, you shall take it patiently? But
  if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, you take
  it patiently, this is acceptable to God.

Fruit of Meekness Temperance

• Meekness is slow to take offense.
• Temperance is the power to control the flesh.
• The combination of meekness and temperance
  equates to self-control.
• Self-control is the ultimate test of your
  strength.
• Meekness and Temperance guides our spirit to
  freely choose to do things that will bring honor
  to God.
