Objective
  • To Provide Each Zonta Club and Area Director in
    District 7 with the information and tools needed
    to effectively educate Zonta members on the
    mission of the Zonta International Foundation.

  • Clubs, Areas Districts have contributed 75 
  • Zonta is at 48 of the biennium goal!

District 7 every day, thanks to you and your
clubs!

  • Annual Women of Achievement Luncheon events
    honoring Zontians and women in the community
  • Adoption of local Safe Home for abused women
  • Book Sales that raise money for local library
  • Collaboration with other organizations to restore
    city double-decker bus for community use
  • Completion of Zonta statue project for the city

  • Donation of Amelia Earhart books and donations of
    books to shelters, libraries
  • Donation of professional clothing for women
    getting back in the workplace
  • Endowment at local college where Zontians
    contribute as memorials and fundraise to add to
    the endowment
  • Families In Action Volunteer Award where Zonta
    partners with a TV station who then interviews
    three families that volunteer and the public
    decides the winner. A Sunday brunch event honors
    the winner and is part of the citys fall
    festival

  • Graduate woman scholarship thru a local college,
    GED scholarships for the YWCA and Adult Learning
    Center
  • Gift packages to Minnesota Home Nursing agency
    along with financial support
  • Host Safety Town for children starting school
    this fall providing supplies and treats
  • International church and two Zonta clubs provide
    funding for Bonding with Baby before Birth book
  • Joint partnership with Rotary International for
    literary packets for low-income families

    planting of tree in honor of a Zontian, and city
    clean up day
  • Landscaping homes by Zontians for Habitat for
    Humanity
  • Make and deliver birthday cakes to

    presentation at the Expand Your Horizons
    seminar for young girls
  • Outrageous numbers of service and volunteer hours
    by all the Zonta clubs in District 7

  • Port Girls Home speaker and mentorship program
  • Quite Extraordinary giving of funds to local and

    free community event about heart health and heart
    disease prevention

    the United Way Back to School Supplies for over
    2700 children
