6
Purpose of TAP
  • Create tools to support teams from institutions
    that
  • are involved in significant institutional
improvement of teaching and learning with
    technology
  • use assessment in a variety of ways to guide and
    support that effort
  • share a commitment to the purposeful application
of assessment and dissemination of assessment
    results to support deep change.

7
Your turn again
  • Share an assessment a-ha, or high point (most
successful, most engaged, most clear about
purpose) for current, past or even future
    (imagined) project

8
Any common denominators?
9
The TAP a-has the key questions
  • What is transformation?
  • How does it comes about?
  • What is the relationship between assessment
    transformation?
  • What are some effective strategies for developing
    a transformative assessment program?
  • What are some processes for developing such a

  • Enabled by the intelligent and appropriate use of
    technology
  • Informed by assessment a commitment to
    data-driven decision-making
