Survey Methodology

• Web-based survey available from July 17-July 20,
  2004
• Survey consisted of 12 questions and took an
  average of 4 minutes to complete
• A random sample of CBS MarketWach users invited
  to participate in the survey via an email with an
  embedded link to the survey using the CBS
  MarketWatch opt-in email list
• All questions were required for respondents. Only
  valid, completed surveys were included in
  analysis
• A total of 669 individuals completed the survey
