  • Wireless network access at Victoria University

SYMANTECANTI-VIRUS
  • Victoria University is licensed to use Symantec
    Anti-virus
  • Anti-virus software download and update location
  • http//intranet.vu.edu.au/antivirus/
  • Antivirus Software is also available on the
    Student User Guide CD which can be found in the
    library or at your campus Help Desk.
  • Students can install the anti-virus software at
    home legally while studying at VU

  • Place original copy face down on the scanner
  • Select the button according to your document
    type
  • Scan Document button
  • Scan Picture button
  • Edit Text (OCR) button
  • A dialog box appears, choose a destination to
    save your file.

File and AccountManagement
  • When saving files, ensure you do not save them on
    Desktop
  • We recommend saving your work on My Documents,
    however ensure you have a copy of it before you
    log off.
  • Save files on floppy disk, USB flash disk or
    email them to yourself using your student email
  • Remember to log off as your internet quota usage
    is 80MB
