2
Who are we and what do we do?
  • Founded in 1978.
  • System and fuel application patent.
  • Specializing in complex, niche petrochemical
    markets.
  • Our main goal is to work with Environmental,
Material and Safety Engineers to achieve
    compliance.
  • Cost effective, mine specific, applications.
  • Helping our customers understand Petrochemicals.

3
The ProblemWhy we are here
  • Diesel fuel is derived from crude oil.
  • Very complex hydrocarbon C9 C22.
  • Variations in crude oil.
  • What we have in diesel fuel.
  • What we dont want in diesel fuel.

4
Diesel Fuel vs. Synthetic Fuel
5
What is Available
  • Conventional Diesel Low SulfurNow
  • Conventional Diesel Ultra Low Sulfur?
  • Bio Diesel.In limited areas
  • Synthetic Fuel.Now

6
What Do We Want Out Of Our Fuel?
  • Low emissions
  • Lower price
  • Availability
  • No problems out of any fuel
  • Added value

7
Synthetic Fuel VS. Diesel 2
  • The best true proof of any fuel or additive is
    CREDITABLE DATA.
  • Field tests are good but they are never
    controlled.
  • EPA and MSHA require the ISO 8178 test cycle.

8
Results of Data at MSHATesting Laboratory
  • All tests were taken on an Isuzu 4JG1. Tier 2, 4
    cylinder, turbo charged engine.
  • Tests were taken by MSHA personnel and EC/OC data
was analyzed by NIOSH at the Pittsburgh Research
    Lab.
  • All test were taken under MSHA and EPA protocol.
