What is a Biome? Page 2

• A Biome is a place around the world.
• Take a desert for instance. It is hot, dry, and
  almost no water. There is more deserts in the
  world so this makes the desert a Biome.
• Also they have to be a place, not a mall, or a
  shop, or a house, or anything like that.

• There is little life in deserts because of lack
  of water.
• Deserts can be found on every continent, except
  for Europe.
• There is 4 major desertsGreat Basin, Mojave,
  the Sonoran and the Chihuahuan.
• The plants you might come apon might be yucca,
  aloe, cacti and more.

• The temperature can reach up to about 20-50
  Celsius.
• The animals might be scorpions, lizards,
  buzzards, bugs, and more animals.
• Humans, can almost die, in a desert.

• The Arctic Tundra is the coldest Biome.
• The Tundra is an ice land that the ice never
  melts.
• But only in spring.
• Which deer, and other animals make their family.

• Other animals hunt wolves, bears, and others.
• When the winter comes again, the animals migrate.
• And they use food to survive till next spring.
