  • Quorum Activities Read the Prophet Joseph
    Smiths testimony in Joseph SmithHistory 1120,
    and discuss it with a priesthood leader.
  • Spiritual Development Read an account of one of
    your ancestors, or learn about an ancestor from
    one of your relatives. Report what you learned in
    family home evening or in a quorum meeting.
  • Citizenship and Social Development Prepare your
    personal Hall of Heroes by (1) researching the
    lives of at least eight personal heroes (2)
    writing a short paragraph on why each is your
    hero and (3) obtaining or taking a photograph
    of, or painting a picture of each and hanging it
    on the wall in your room. (To be considered a
    personal modification of requirements.)

    Alma through Moroni, and discuss with your family
    what Alma, Helaman, and Moroni foretold about
    Christ. Also discuss the brother of Jared and the
    strength of his faith.
  • Spiritual Development Develop a list of 10
    qualities that you admire in your father or
    another adult, and discuss them.
  • Educational, Personal, and Career Development
    Choose 3 careers that interest you. Think of
    several questions you have about each career, and
    discuss them with your parents, a priesthood
    leader, or others who can help you learn about
    these careers. Emphasize the positive aspects of
    each career as they relate to your personal
    characteristics and life goals.
  • Citizenship and Social Development Invite your
    grandparents or other senior citizens to share
    their childhood memories with you. Take notes of
    the major highlights in their lives.

    book, including such topics as the difference in
    attitude between Nephi and Laman, the value of
    obedience to parents and priesthood leaders, the

    King Benjamins wise counsel, Jesus Christs
    visit to the Western Hemisphere, and the promise
    given in Moroni 1045.
  • Family Activities Submit the name of one of your
    ancestors for temple work, or write a 500-word
    personal history.
  • Educational, Personal, and Career Development
    Prepare a personal history, including several
    important events in your life or your familys
    life. Keep a journal or personal record.
