Richmonds residents - and improve the safety, health and well-being of
Richmond - residents, a Human Services Committee recommended
bold - strategies. This effort is steered by a Human
Services Cabinet. This - efforts takes place in four primary areas
- Early Care and Parent/Caretaker Education
- Child and Adolescent Health

- At Risk Male Intervention and Support
- The City will also increase its visibility and
attention to - Well-Being of Seniors and Disabled persons

Force on Community Infrastructure
- Drafted two new zoning districts to encourage the
development of mixed-use projects consistent with
the objectives of the master plan and the
downtown plan - Bringing together public and private partners to
construct a mixed-use, mixed-income Demonstration
Project in Jackson Place/Jackson Commons to
include a mix of residential, retail, retail, a
park and perhaps a neighborhood school - Making recommendations to significantly improve
the Citys permitting and inspection process - Developing an Affordable Dwelling Unit (ADU)
ordinance that encourages developers to allocate
a portion of new real estate projects for
affordable housing, in order to promote
mixed-use, mixed-income residential communities - Developing criteria for the development of a
local Affordable Housing Trust Fund.
