  • Each week your supervisor will set a goal for the
    following week, after negotiation with you and
    consulting your GANTT chart. You are expected to
    demonstrate real physical progress each week.

Submitted Pieces of Work
  • A project, submitted on disc (and where required,
    on-line)The project should be equivalent to
    6,000 words and be a substantial product which
    meets entirely the aims and objectives set out by
    you in Project 1.The disc should be clearly
    organised so that its very clear how to load the
    product.
  • An Evaluative Report (1000 words)This report
    should outline, in an objective and formal way,
    to what extent your project met your initial aims
    and objectives. This evaluation should be based
    on a user-testing method of your choice. You
    should also justify this choice of user
    testingThe Structure of the Report should
    include1. Project Introduction Aims and
    Objectives, Target User. etc.2. Methodology and
    Justification3. Findings and Recommendations
  • DEADLINE 9th MAY 05.

Presentation
  • At the end of the semester, you will be required
    to present a formal 20 minute presentation to
    your year group, tutors and possibly New Media
    students from other years.
  • In this formal presentation (prepared in
    PowerPoint) you should
  • 1. Introduce your project Aims and Objective.
    Target User etc.
  • 2. Demonstrate your project
  • 3. Present an evaluation of your project, based
    on an evaluation method of your own choice
  • 4. Identify Key Strengths and Weaknesses
  • 5.Outline Future Requirements/Adjustments
  • 6. The date and time of the presentations will be
    released during semester two (probably will be on
    Fridays)
