3Objectives
To reduce the occurrence of human-caused fires
and develop Firewise communities
- Continue to increase awareness of existing fire
hazards in the interface along the Wasatch Front. - Continue to distribute Fireworks safety posters
and flyers to target fireworks vendors and users. - Continue to re-establish contact with Tooele
County fire managers. - Develop and coordinate key messages to be used
statewide for current fire season Days of
47, Labor Day, and Hunting Season. - Provide interagency expertise in public
relations and outreach to develop Firewise
communities.
