  • SCCL is totally committed to a clean
    corruption free administration, which ensures
    speedy and efficient service to all the
    consumers and shareholders
  • With this objective SCCL has set up a Vigilance
    Department in 1987 as per the guidelines of
    Central Vigilance Commission.

VIGILANCE MEANS
  • Vigilance means alertness
  • Alertness prevents corruption
  • corruption / nepotism / etc., are certain
    important ailments plaguing an industry /
    company.
  • Vigilance can play an important role in
    preventing the above.
  • Vigilance is one of the important tools in the
    hands of the Management to achieve its desired
    goals.

  • Corruption / nepotism is perhaps the inherent
    character of about 80 public.
  • 10 public are honest irrespective of the
    happiness.
  • 10 public are dishonest irrespective low
    enforcement.
  • 80 public behave depending on the system. They
    are fence sitters.
  • Vigilance plays an important role in convicting
    the culprits and rewarding the honest people.

  • To assist management in bringing about and
    sustaining

  • To make fair, objective and prompt
    investigations to plug-
  • out loopholes and to arrive at the
    truth and help
  • dispense justice.

  • To develop intelligence so as to detect cases
    of mischief
  • To make all executives conscious of the

  • Vigilance is also a management
    function
  • To interact with Govt. agencies like CBI,
    ACB, VE etc. on
  • Vigilance matters.
  • To protect whistle blowers
  • To safeguard the interests of the company to
    run on sustenance growth, inturn for betterment
    of employees as well for overall improvement of

Vigilance Enquiry
  • It is the prime duty of an executive and an
    employee of the company to extend their full
    cooperation to the vigilance department
    authorities in conducting enquiries in free and
    fair manner
  • Vigilance department authorities are empowered to
    enter any place of the company and take any
    record in to safe custody with due
    acknowledgement.

STANDING ORDERS
  • Standing Orders are applicable to all NCWA
