Welcome to the Business Testing Lab

• Before we begin, here are a few important rules
  to remember
• You must have a UCF Student ID to take a test.
• You will need to know if your test is on WebCT or
  WebCourses, know your NID, and be able to log
  into it prior to entering the lab.
• Please be sure to check-in AND check-out for your
  test with the Tech Team at the entrance to the
  lab. If you do not check-in AND check-out, there
  will be no complete record of you being in the
  testing lab should something go wrong with your
  test!
• If you have any errors occur on your test, please
  be sure to raise your hand and make a proctor
  aware of the situation.
• You cannot bring in books, purses, backpacks,
  cell phones, or any other electronic device
  except for a non-graphing, non-programmable
  calculator and only if permitted one by your
  exam.
• There is a locker room next to the testing lab in
  which you can store your baggage. There is a
  .50 cost for the lockers. Motorcycle helmets,
  skateboards, and large umbrellas will NOT fit,
  you will have to make other arrangements for
  these items.
• Once you check-in for your test, you may not
  leave before submitting your test.

What is allowed in the testing lab?

• Student ID
• Pen or Pencil
• Calculators
• Only if allowed by your exam
• Has to be Non-Graphing and Non-Programmable
• Index Cards (original cards only)
• Only if allowed by your exam. Not paper cut to
  size, print out stapled to card or any other
  method.
• 3x5
• 5x7
• 8x11
• Wallet
• Car Keys
• The testing lab provides scratch paper
• Hats need to be placed inside a locker. If worn,
  they MUST be turned around backwards. You may
  not place it on the desk or ground.

Items Not Allowed in the Testing Lab

• Anything not on the previous slide
• This includes but is not limited to
• Cell phones
• Umbrellas
• Purses
• Ipods
• Food and Beverages
• This includes closed containers and gum
• Sun glasses
• Headphones

Using the Lockers

• Each locker costs 50
• There is a change machine inside the locker room
• Place your items inside the locker
• Insert 2 quarters into the slot on the back of
  the door
• Close the locker
• Turn the key to the left and pull the key out

• When seated your desktop will look like this
• Start by double-clicking LockDown Browser or
  WebCT
• NOTE Remember that not all professors require
  LockDown Browser. You can check to see if it
  requires it by looking at your test title in
  WebCT.

• Click on Log in to myWebCT

• Enter your NID
• Enter your Password
• Default password is Capital P then 2 digit year,
  month, and day of your birthday
• IE. Pyymmdd
• Then click Log In

• Click the stop watch folder to go directly to the
  exam/quiz page

• Click your available test or quiz
• Note the Requires Respondus LockDown Browser
  link
• If the exam link does not say this, then you may
  go through Internet Explorer to take your exam
